We believe children benefit from learning with adults who are both knowledgeable and deeply engaged in their subject areas.
Our teaching team is made up of a combination of:
Experienced educators
Homeschool educators
Skilled mentors and specialists
Professionals working within their fields
For our older academic groups, particularly in mathematics and science, we prioritise instructors with strong subject knowledge and real-world experience. Wherever possible, we seek teachers and mentors actively working within their profession to help bring depth, relevance, and confidence to learning.
As we continue growing, we are carefully building a teaching team aligned with The Grove’s values, educational approach, and commitment to meaningful learning.
Teacher introductions and biographies will be shared with enrolled families as staffing is finalised.

Little Grove is our gentle early years program for ages 3–6, designed to support young children through rhythm, play, movement, creativity, and meaningful real-world experiences.
Rather than rushing formal academics, we focus on building strong foundations through hands-on learning, imagination, practical skills, nature, stories, and connection.
Our mornings follow a consistent weekly rhythm that helps children feel secure, grounded, and engaged.
Our Weekly Rhythm
Monday — Handwork Day
Children engage in simple hands-on crafts and practical work designed to strengthen fine motor skills, creativity, patience, and confidence.Tuesday — Nature & Art Day
We spend time outdoors whenever weather allows, exploring nature, seasonal changes, observation, movement, and creative expression through art and sensory experiences.Wednesday — Baking Day
Children participate in baking and practical kitchen activities that encourage cooperation, sequencing, early mathematics, sensory learning, and life skills.Alongside our weekly rhythm, we also follow seasonal and thematic learning. Each week is tied together through shared themes explored through:
Stories
Songs and movement
Crafts
Nature study
Play
Practical activities
Art and sensory experiences
This creates a connected and immersive learning experience that feels meaningful and memorable for young children.
Our goal is to provide a calm, joyful, and relationship-centered environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically at a developmentally appropriate pace.
